I am an image collector. The things I see, or envision in my mind’s eye, often become meaningful icons that inform my photography. I am drawn to patterns, symmetry, balance, and negative space; things that are found intrinsically within nature, or are created by man. Perspective with all its intangibles, sub-textual statements, and conversations, draws my focus, as is currently manifested in my aerial imagery.

Shot from helicopters with doors off, at heights as high as 10,000 feet, allows viewers to immerse themselves in the image, the perspective, and even perhaps the sensation with both feet on the ground.
